Squad

Chew is coming back into heavy development and will graduate from alpha to beta before this month is out.
Done so far? TypeScript refactor of the API.
Coming soon? Simpler client, revamped UI/UX, awesomeness.

Alright, maybe a bit more than a couple.

Chew is currently going through maintenance and will be offline for a couple hours.

Product Update
chewit is now 2.0! New in this release is support for Express and Fastify. Looking forward to supporting other popular server modules for Node.js soon.
Fastify support was definitely necessary to transition the Chew app to it. Hey, dogfooding is important!

At long last, I have a proof-of-concept working with Fastify! Faaaaantastic!

I have identified ways that Chew could improve as well as have good branding. The MVP isn’t always the best pass at something but the next pass is a great foundation.

Alright, time for an update!
I’ve been trying to get the chewit
plugin working with both choo and fastify for the past week. It’s been a harrowing experience. These are both great frameworks that do not give me what Express does.
With choo, I’ve been able to grab the visited page’s href (or link)…and that’s it.
Because choo is a front-end framework, that is the best I can do at this point. I can keep trying to figure out fastify (back-end framework) but I’ll give this a rest for now.
One of my sleeping competitors recently upgraded their UI so I’ve got some work to do!

Not sure if this is the logo I want to go with but it’s something for now.

BOOM, all set.

Some issues with logging in have been identified. A fix will be out tonight.
